The new eAdvantage® is designed for use in hospitals (emergency rooms, maternity units, clinics, etc.) and provides a variable mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen on demand to a conscious, spontaneously breathing patient for pain relief during childbirth, trauma, or other clinically indicated inhalation analgesia applications. The device simply needs to be connected to a pressure-regulated medical oxygen and nitrous oxide supply (wall outlet or cylinders), electrical power or battery, and a patient circuit with a mouthpiece or face mask and expiratory hose to be ready for use.
